What a difference a year makes, right? The first 18 days of Nov. 2024 had already eclipsed the record for wettest full-November on record dating back to 1895. Fast-forward to this year, the first 18 days are the DRIEST on record. That should change starting tonight. #okwx #okmesonet

Confidence is growing for a much colder weather pattern for the Great Plains area around Thanksgiving and into the first week of December. Way too early to get a read on precipitation, however. 'tis the season! #okwx #okmesonet

Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing drought. Rain chances go up...WAY UP on Wednesday and Thursday. More record highs possible today. Temperatures will come back to more seasonable territory with the rain, at least. ticker.mesonet.org #okwx #okmesonet
