The first 12 days of October were the 9th-warmest on record in OKC, dating back to 1890 (oddly enough, just ahead of 2024 through that same time frame). Tulsa has had its 5th-warmest, by comparison. Both have a long way to go to reach those top marks. #okwx #okmesonet

Our current dry spell continues to expand, and drought's following along behind. Rain chances go up this weekend into early next week, but not for those areas with the worst colors on the map.
