They have to dig deep to be deliberately obtuse and polarizing. It’s not news if it’s not clickbait.

MAGA response to this would be “He doesn’t drink.”

IDK about that but my aunt, who lived in New Orleans, told me the story of how the democrat in the LA governor’s race won with slogans like “vote for lizard, not the wizard” and “vote for the crook, it’s important.” The people decided corruption was better than David Duke.

But it makes you senator. Says everything you need to know about the american voting public. We like our politicians dumb and folksy.

Anyone think the farmers’ crops will flood the current market and bring down food prices or will big agro be given handouts, small farms sold off, and the produce left to rot in the fields?

I wish fat shaming was the worst thing I heard today

Using passionate to describe bad behavior is a failure to hold someone accountable for their actions. It also feels permissive and encourages the behavior. Don’t coddle anti-social behavior. Is this really how we want all public gathering to be? Call it out or encourage it.

Not sure what thesaurus you were using but passionate doesn’t mean uncivilized. Passionate is more of a positive way to describe intense & specific feelings of interest. These people weren’t passionate about golf. They were AH that were there to berate the other team’s players & wives. Disgusting.

Yep, that’s what makes Comey so perfect. They are relying on dems to want him punished regardless of charges or evidence and people are gonna roll over for trumped-up belly rubs and if convicted, kick their leg in satisfaction. We all know he is guilty of something.

A day that always feels haunted by the ghosts of our past.

Oddly, one of the truest adaptations. Admittedly, a bit obsessed w/Dickens but was blown away by all the small details included. Every year I find something new. Easter eggs for Christmas!

Is it reasonably appropriate for a 14yo that rides a public school bus?

Because people like this never admit they were wrong or they overreacted. She will absolutely double-down because I promise, her ego and pride and more important to her than that child.

We watch a lot of old movies w/our kids. The 13yo was blown away by MacBeth w/Sean Connery. It’s more like a filmed theater production than movie but she enjoyed seeing Shakespearean acting & it conveyed the plot & emotions more than the language. So much to learn from old movies.

Their only objection is that it's expensive. I'm boycotting yachts for the same reason.

I only learned about it at university in an advanced anthro class. It was both shocking and not.

It's 2025. This could mean anything from the opening of a new Taco Bell or that the future in Demolition Man is now here.
