Midst of a writing block but I did manage to explore a bit and write my (I think) first poem that wasn’t an assignment in school lol

Two hands up and down, curls over an eye like its eyelids. A girl, in the whistling woods, and winds strong enough to tilt the trees at an angle. Skirt flings around, and footsteps echo behind her Her eyes, wide, darting back, staring at the eye Its body is large, with legs like fingers, crawling like a spider A tongue laps up above the bottom hand, dragging across the dirt Drool dripping down, leaving the ground sheen Over a branch, she falls, hands meeting wet sludge The same sheen, with the texture of mucus, appears all around Her head snaps up, and its tongue darts out, curling around the body Her eyes snap shut And when an eye tentatively opens, she freezes Within her father’s arms, the warmth feels repulsive Good morning, love, what are you doing out here? That smile, curved sharply at the edges Plays itself like a broken record In her mind, again and again She stands as a shadow in his doorway Long dark lines stretching across the ground Her body expanding up into the roof itself She doesn’t think about it too hard But the wooden indents of the knife press themselves into her hand And the blood dripping off it calms the senses This is love, it’s what he always said So as cursed as it sounds in her mind, she is still his little girl And the screams that reflects back are hugs Warm, wet hugs.

Little teaser on something else I’m working on. This is probably another self-insert, Millow x Striker, but first person POV

There’s a sort of closed off, tsundere kind of dynamic from Millow here and nice banter as usual #helluvabossstriker
Between jobs, I hauled myself under the heat Wrath had bestowed upon me. It was unforgiving; the rays themselves felt like I was being cooked alive. Everything I owned to my name was stuffed in a bag on my back, and the weight of it pulled me down with every step. Striker was just in front, his tail swaying completely unbothered, and his rucksack much lighter. He had suggested I come with him on this…trip. He said it was a mission. Then proceeded to describe plans to crash a wedding of another assassin, because they had some sort of ‘feud’ years ago. Whether it was some prank or revenge, I suppose I’ll have a hand in it. “So,” he drawled and flicked his tail, brushing up sand in the process, “Are ya regretting carryin’ so much now?” He turned around, with his hat tilted at a beautiful angle, casting a shadow that made his yellow snake eyes glow. I scoffed and kept my thoughts to myself. “No, Strikes, I’d rather not stink. You’d be surprised at how an extra pair of clothes can help the issue,” I retorted quickly, trying to take a jab. My ears flicked above my head, picking up his groan that followed. Striker adjusted his hat as he started walking beside me. “You’re really a pain, aren’t ya? Can’t do nothin’ but call me out. Such a sharp tongue for a hound.” I felt the chuckle rise the moment he opened his mouth. “Didn’t think you’d actually admit it.” I shrugged and swayed playfully. My head leaned back and I teased, “You know, maybe Fizzarolli was right, mouthwash would help.” Now that name made his tail spike up. Another puff of sand brushed up behind him and clicked his tongue. “Shut up. That purse dog has nothin’ to do with this.” His fist gripped tight, and his eyes stared forward into the distance, where a small town resided. Not that he was looking there. He was more focused on getting them back soon and Blitz. “Can’t wait till I crush those damn pests. The world’ll be better without them.” I hitched an eyebrow. That’s the ego speaking. “That sounds like a lot.” My eyes were focused ahead; we were getting close to that little hideout he’d mentioned. He laughed heartily, pulling his knife out and touching the blade like he was worshipping it. I swallowed. His eyes shone with determination, and he licked the blunt edge in thought. “Not enough to kill the buggers, apparently. Don’t worry, you’ll get a front row seat to it, darlin’. Ain’t nothing like a showdown where I break them like a horse.”

Thought I might introduce my original story to you guys

The Seers of Marionacle is a low fantasy, psychological novel mainly about an amnesiac trespasser wandering around the castle, and trying to find out who he is!

In the kingdom of Marionacle, secrets are currency and perception is power. Princess Cecilia fights to maintain control and her people’s faith, where the responsibilities are as heavy as the crown. To her admirers, she is the picture of perfection—poised, well-educated and determined. But despite this, she scrambles to uncover the identity of a trespasser, unaware he’s already wandering the castle halls. In seeking his past, he stumbles into truths that bind him to Soleille, a gardener whose loyalty masks a fragile delusion. Their bond, one born of necessity, pulls them into situations that question their guilty consciences, their beliefs and threatens to expose the rot beneath the palace’s gilded walls. When Marionacle spirals into its collapse, each person will be forced to confront truths and face consequences they cannot outrun. Its secrets will bleed those curious enough, and not everyone will survive the kingdom’s collapse.

A fanfiction called Gun Kissed based on a main pairing of Striker/Original OC on ao3 Millow’s work as a bodyguard includes a special part in its discreet delivery. His white fur as a hellhound makes him elegant, and he uses it as a cover, pretending to be an escort while protecting his client. It’s only when Striker walks into the same event that Millow remembers what exactly he’s good at. Cornering and distracting the dangerous man into doing just what he wants. And fucking over his own client just for the fun of it. • Written in first person perspective, a separate AU of bodyguard/escort Millow meeting Striker for the first time and having too much fun during it. Millow might or might not have been admiring Striker before they even met.

Had a beautiful dream last night about Striker and am very curious to explore it in writing

You’ll have to excuse the weird numbers I’ve included in this fic because Idk why but the numbers 11 20 11 20 came up in my dreams when he asked me how long I’ve waited
“You know,” Striker started, leaning with his back against the balcony fence, “I had to send in some kind of form, evidence of our…connection. Felt like a license. Permission slip to touch you the way I want.” The corner of his slips curled up in a little grin, like he was laughing at the process in his head. He smiled wider, more confident, like he thought, “as if they can stop me.” His tail flicked between the wooden frame of the fence lazily in thought. “They sure know how to make a man wait.” You gave a half shrug, not really sure what to do but wait for the letter. It was difficult to hide the need though. It had been crawling through your veins, right under your skin, where it burned for his touch. Even when you wanted to crawl into his lap, you just tried to ignore it, tried to push it down. It will come soon. You told yourself that again and again. But nowadays, it has been harder to believe with each repetition. He must’ve seen the way your face turned away and changed. He had a way of watching you closely. It made you shy, knowing how he sees you, as his beautiful pretty boy. His gaze always seemed to wrap you close even if he was still relaxed, both elbows on the fence. His eyes dropped down and back up, like he was taking the image of you in. “You’ve been waiting, haven’t ya? How long’s it been?” You shifted your weight to the other leg. “About…eleven, maybe twenty,” you said, the number of weeks already in your head. You had thought about it too often, even if the actual number slipped from your grasp. Of his body hovering over you, breathing and saying those sweet words in a drawl, making sure you felt safe, secure, and in no one else’s arms except for his. He brushed his tongue over his teeth. His eyes still steady on you, with an intensity in them that lingered. He pushed off the fence. And in two smooth strides, he was already incredibly close, close enough you were hyper aware of your own scent wafting. Striker moved his head into the curve of your neck like he was checking your arousal for himself. He breathed in slow, taking his time. Your scent was incredibly warm, and it made his arms itch to touch you more. He already wanted to slip his hand under your shirt and up your back, pressing your body close to his. He relented that desire, settling on a slow certain hand around your waist. The grip was warm and sure, pulling you closer to his warmth. His voice dropped into something breathless but certain. “Well,” he murmured, lips brushing your neck. “We might not be able to wait.”

Yes, but I wouldn’t say it frightens me. I’d say it comforts me to almost process those feelings in words and share it with people who feel the same. 🧵

There are easier and more pleasant things to create art about, but you don't want to let your fear rule you, so you force yourself to give it an audience through your work. You audience through your work. You depict your worst nightmares so that they won't take up so much space in your mind. Art is a safe place to come to terms with everything that makes you feel unsafe.

I’m going back to my roots guys, writing a BHNA fanfic again, this time, reliving my villain / vigilante era!!
A sneak-peak into the vigilante story with white text on a black screen. The story reads, It was a particularly warm spring morning, and our class were taken to a special facility called the U.S.J where Thirteen was there to help us practise rescue drills. I was in particular rather excited, as the drills were always personalised to be challenging. I was placed in the section where there were tall buildings of concrete, created with the help of Cementos. We were all assigned randomly, although I did admit that I needed to pay more attention to my surroundings. I walked through the door frames, examining the place in greater detail. The gray walls looked worn from years of use and there were some graffiti and dark burnt patches on the walls, which I assumed were the efforts by a previous quirk user. From the layout alone, it suggested it was used as a standard corporate office, just abandoned with dust and pieces of rubble collecting at the corners. Some of the windows were broken through, making me avoid the pieces of glass on the floor. I looked up at the introduction of a distorted humming sound coming vaguely from the next room. Looking over, I saw a dark round portal forming and a young blonde girl with space buns slowly emerged from it. Her face was ridden with tears and dried up blood from somewhere.
