I’m so glad they got rid of DEI initiatives so they could have high merit experience people like Hegseth in the White House
First off, Pete Hegseth is a disgrace and should be fired.

Second, instead of being an asshole and trash-talking the journalist, he should be thanking him for not posting anything top-secret that’s still to come.

@povertyalliance.org conference was brilliant. The speakers, the facilitators and the community of change makers they have built in Scotland. Inspired to how we can better work together to make change happen and break down barriers in the sector #makingchangehappen

Absolutely loved this from @rozfoyer.bsky.social, let’s keep making trouble!
Great to hear now from @rozfoyer.bsky.social of the Scottish TUC outlining how workers are standing up for themselves in Scotland, with more than 1,000 industrial disputes. Collective bargaining works, is her message. 'Justice isn't won by asking nicely.'

I am an Army spouse and for the last 2 years have been living alone for about 75% of the time. Getting this scruffy menace at times has been hard and raising a puppy is no small thing, but I am so grateful for his company.

This has been the trend for some time Giving Tuesday had a brief moment but has been irrelevant to marketers for some time. Partly I think thanks to the (necessary) death of the hashtag
Christmas Giving Insights report, by @enthuseco.bsky.social, found that 1 December was the most popular day for people in the UK to donate in 2023 rather than Giving Tuesday. It dived into the best days, weeks and hours for festive donations to help charities get the most out of their campaigns.
Fewer donations on Giving Tuesday than other days of festive period, research finds

What no one can seem to add up is the stats that say how many farmers will be affected ( 500 says Govt, 70,000 says Countryside Alliance and NFU) with the numbers of farmers who make no profit, 30%, and those who make less than £25k a year (i.e the farmers wages)

🚨 Over 1.4 MILLION emergency food parcels were provided by food banks in our community in just 6 months. This is 69% higher than the same period 5 years ago.

This can't go on and we refuse to stand by while so many of us are pushed to the brink, without enough money to live on.
