One thing that genuinely does mystify me, with no snark: Trump is one of the least masculine, least adult people in public life. Needy, whiny, defensive, pleading, scared of women & terrified of more powerful men.

We are in a small community outside Minneapolis and a child arrived to an empty house on Friday. No parents, ice kidnapped them and just leave children to wander alone after school

The right has been destroying public higher education for decades. They have cut funding to the point where there isn't much state left in state schools. With their transactional capitalist mindset and anti-intellectualism we have HE becoming a form of vocational education.
