I’m glad Ricky Tiedemann made the Jays 40-man roster because when I see his name I think of the Netflix series Dark, and Dark was a great series, so now I’ll probably get tot think about it more if he earns a regular role the big leagues.

We all know way too much about each other. I miss when dramas were mostly just on big screens or obliquely written gossip pages. Also when there was shame.

I hadn't thought about it until now, but given how the manager searches have trended, I'm kind of shocked Sean Doolittle wasn't one of the new manager hires this offseason. He'd be great at it.

I remember covering Gio in Triple A and a scout telling me he’d never make it as a starter because his extension wasn’t good enough. That memory makes me laugh and feel incredibly washed at the same time.

When you have a chance to lock up a prolific base-stealer for five years when he’s 28, you have to take it. In all seriousness, Josh Naylor is fun and I’m looking forward to seeing him play with Julio and Cal for the next few years.

This growing trend of Niners fans traveling well was surprising to me until last year when I finally made it to Levi's for a game for the first time and it took me roughly the same amount of time to get home as it would have to fly to like four different NFL cities.

Every morning at 7am my son's high school sends out a newsletter. I've actually started using it as a gauge for how late or not I'm running in the morning. But despite the daily updates, I still have no idea if school ends at 3 or 3:30 today. The art of communication! 🙄
