I taught adult beginner swimmers for a while and you all are brave and determined! IMO it’s harder once you’re grown-up because you KNOW how scary the water is. But it feels great to be confident and enjoy swimming. Good luck 💦

I’m always kinda dying at the ‘we’ve accomplished more. ….”
More horror? More bankruptcies? More unemployment?

I think the “may not be” is unnecessary. He’s awful through and through

My 20-year-old is watching for the first time and I’m joining him when I can for a rewatch. It is still so good!

I made that for my son when he went away to college! Such a great pattern

Big fan of Annie Bot! I never would have read it if a friend hadn’t recommended it, so good

It’s so much bluster — I find that some things that used to frighten me seem pathetic when viewed through the lens of “they’re scared”
Feeling even more outrage now (who would have thought it possible) with an emphasis on rage.

There’s really no downside to having that many books at the ready IMO

Curious to hear Ric’s side of the story, according to Paulina he left her out of his will?

My kids are early 20s now, and when they were little a number of my friends were parenting their own children in loving ways, the opposite of how they themselves were raised. FWIW I think many found the experience healing, and the kids have grown up great 😊

This was my first R-rated movie as a 12-year-old in the theater and I was appropriately freaked and loved it — thank you, Dad!
