I do find it a little concerning that govt has this wonderful Dual Billing plan all ready to go, and have made a high quality video to explain it... but they haven't even figured out any of their "guardrails" yet. Maybe those should come first?

We used to be able to operate on hip fractures in 24hours, now ABs are waiting 5 days or longer in a hospital bed for that same surgery! Not for a lack of surgeons, but due to a lack of anesthesiologists and support staff. We even have EMPTY ORs in our hospitals.

Well look at this graph, it clearly shows that the wait times for the surgeries that will kill you are only getting worse.
