I dunno if it's the same thing but the thing I saw was formatted as a direct quote but said quote just doesn't appear in the cited judgement. And I don't mean a word missing, it just... isn't there. Not that I can see anyway.

I've been saying "Sod the BBC, read the press statement from the court as it summarises it properly and is specifically aimed at the reading level of your average journalist (so that of a reasonably bright 7 year old). Alas, it seems press standards have dipped even lower than they expected"

As I was on the way to catch a train in Cardiff last night I saw on the wall of the School of Journalism it said "A free press is the most watchful sentry of the state. A 'yes' press is fatal to good government."
I grimly noted that it's right next to the BBC building.

The court very thoughtfully provided a succinct summary of what went down. Cutting a 312 page document down to a mere 3. It must be so maddening for them that the press appears to have studiously not fucking bothered to read it and headcanoned their own stupid story instead

As another cis woman, maybe take some pointers from the trans people you're lecturing and have some self respect. Stop enabling both transphobes AND misogynists, because who do you think they'll turn on once you've helped them get what they want?

Same. Always happy to throw pills at me and when I say I don't feel any better they just up the dose until they hit the maximum and then scratch their heads when I *still* don't feel any better. So many of those drugs don't seem to affect me at all but they refuse to try anything different
