At last had time to read before rewrites begin, and oh boy was it worth the wait!! I knew I was going to love T'sidaan but I didn't expect how MUCH they would delight me with every appearance, especially as Nesi's relationship with them grew. Great read overall! Thanks @mcflycahill90.bsky.social

I hit 100k in revisions AND finished Act III tonight!! It's one of my favorite moments in the whole book and one of the oldest - it existed well before the actual plot did and I love that I've been able to keep it in the story. Two more acts to go! #amwriting #amrevising

I usually wait until I finish a book to shout about how much I loved it but @mstevensonbooks.bsky.social has me in a chokehold with this one. Only 12 chapters in and I'm so invested in the plot while also laughing until I cried.

You know those rare times when you read a book and it's like it was written specifically for you in every detail of the story and prose and characters? Like you would say you loved it but those wouldn't be strong enough words?

I've been tracking revisions in my bio and had gotten pretty far (41/70 chapters far) before adding in the necessary through line changes. So this kinda stings! But the doc was too messy to keep cutting away at, so it's also a relief. Goal is 1 chapter per day. #writing

A little late to shout this out, but my friend @fancyotter98.bsky.social just released his new book last week and I am so proud of him for the great piece of writing it is and for how far he's come with this series ☺️ #writingcommunity

I grabbed this from the bookstore on a whim a few weeks ago. The cover and back blurb enticed me. I just finished reading tonight. Masterpiece. I have truly never read anything like it and I will think about it probably for the rest of my life.

I started reading very late at night the day it arrived and unfortunately dozed off at midnight around the halfway point, but it was so riveting that I dreamed I was still reading all the way to a devastating ending. Time to see what @premeemohamed.com ACTUALLY has in store 👀
