I tried to be as detailed as possible about why our actions didn’t violate anything, ending off with something like, “we believe PayPal has reached this decision in error” as the most polite way of calling them stupid I could think of 🙃

Funny thing is, it was PayPal’s stupid bot chat that provided the email, you won’t find it anywhere else on their site
They want!! you to think that deactivation is the end all be all, that there’s nothing you can do about it. Even though the process was entirely automated (at least, for us it was)
