HAPPY FOUNTAIN PEN DAY these are two of my favorite pens with two of my favorite inks (this is the very last of my supply of discontinued Tsukushi, alas)
Sparkly Sailor Realo fountain pen over “HAPPY FOUNTAIN PEN DAY!” written in all caps in the purple-green sheen of Colorverse’s Pillars of Creation ink. Under that is “happy fountain pen day!” in cursive, written in burgundy-brown Pilot Iroshizuku Tsukushi ink. Under that is the Pelikan m640 Golden Sahara fountain pen, uncapped.

It is a good day to spend reading in the backyard (tucked up under a jacket, it’s dropped to proper fall temperatures at last)

The saddest dog to ever wear a protective band keeping him from shaking his floppy ears. This is why we don’t rasslin our cheating corg siblings, Rufus.

The Siege of Rufus

Here’s one of my favorite fountain pens which I had actually sold and then missed so much I hunted secondhand sellers to get it back, the Pelikan m640 Golden Sahara. I inked it with my last of PI Tsukushi to show you one of my favorite writing experiences. What’s your go-to writing pair?

I usually figure YOLO and throw permanent inks in whatever pen I grab, but this ink seemed thick in the sample vial so I decided to try it in a Preppy first. It’s nice. Water proof, dries quickly, no flow issues.

Wearingeul Dracula is an absolutely bananas ink and I can only assume it was named for Gary Oldman’s robe

NORMALIZE SHIMMER INK IN FINE NIBS
