My spouse asked me about the internet posts stating that Venezuelans are celebrating the US intervention/kidnapping (distinction dependent on view) and how you can tell what is real. I pointed out that one side has a real history of propaganda, misinformation, and eating the onion as served.

I really doubt Democrats will get anything done trying to vote against the US' military operation in Venezuela after the fact. If they were smart, they would nominate a Declaration of War for vote against Venezuela, coining the conflict legally as "Trump's Occupation, Sponsored by FIFA"

What was the cost of the military operation in Venezuela? How much is it going to cost to secure Venezuela oil? Have repercussions, like boycotts or tariffs in reaction by other countries, been predicted and figured into costs? Will American's see a return on the "investment" in current models?

I am curious... What exactly is Trump going to charge Maduro with? Not like he was a good guy who didn't commit crimes, but he does not fall under US jurisdiction, there is no casus belli, and no international court will touch this. It is like James or Comey again, but with limelight.

I need to see more plays, dances, concerts, and operas. The future of human expression isn't static art or music but media you have to be there to experience. In person, so as to definitely rule out some AI slop being thrown together by a fake personality.
