One of the things I actively ignore about Pathfinder/D&D lore when writing is that Cooshees are typically portrayed as being very lithe dogs with smooth fur.

#TavQoTD Like me, Bernadine is bisexual/biromantic, demisexual, & socially awkward/nervous around people, since she has very low self esteem (although I dial it up when I’m writing her, poor thing). But she’s still loved! She has friends, she has a bestie/boyfriend/eventual husband who loves her.

#Tavember Bernadine has faint scars across her hands from a chemical accident when she was a kid (the one that also turned a streak of her hair white). In this 'verse, she was trying to make a potion to appease a school bully so he'd stop bothering her (it didn't work).

Does Alchemist count? The first time I played Bernadine, I played her as an Alchemist in Pathfinder (& kept her interest in chemistry when I made her a Tav.)
In D&D 4e, she's a Sentinel Druid, which is closer to a Ranger.
