今夜のキャラクター、こういう立ち方を初めて認識したのは吾妻ひでお先生のマンガです。「ななこSOS」とか。実際の女性はこんな立ち方をしないですよね。でもなんとなくリアルというか、想像上のリアルというか。マンガって結局こういう想像上のリアルこそが大事なのかも。
80年代当時ほぼ完璧なデッサンと思われた大友克洋の絵にもデフォルメはある。その模倣者たちの多くが成功しなかったのはデフォルメのセンスの問題でしょう。
