Yes and they do this all the time. Ds, understandably/maybe, are always in reaction mode.

I had no idea about the difference between SSI and SSDI nor the credits thing until we were in the position to need it.

And your second point stands well. Plan was for her to go back to work pt once kids were in school but became disabled, and didnt qualify for assistance after those 10 yrs!

I wonder how that translates to possible Tx districts, esp as I suspect Tx is more purple than Tn.

When wife and I had kids, her choice to either work and likely put most of the paycheck into daycare, or stay home. She chose to stay home. Cool.
Planning is a key - if you can, have kids 4 or 5 years apart so during school, just 1 in daycare.
Careful tho, too many years off work disqualifies SSI!

I'm avoiding corporate purchases this holiday season and buying 'good cause' items as gifts instead. Know at least one person who'll appreciate a 230 coin!

I say this with due acknowledgement that she at least knows the Packingham case, which was before her time on the Court. But I'm deeply worried about what she, Sotomayor, and maybe even Kagan will do on this Cox v. Sony case.
