Minish Cap has been like trying someone else’s favorite childhood snack for the first time and finding out that not only does it hold up, it absolutely rips.

It’s not too deep, & it doesn’t need to be. It’s just a short, easy little guy that is a delight and I get the hype.

Minish Cap is Hi-Chew.

Skyward Sword is Raisin Bran.

It’s fine! But there’s a lot of chuff that obscures the good parts. You feel like you need to consume it for the foundational lore and the fiber.

…but you know there are way better cereals you would rather be spending your time with.

Every time I had to use motion controls to try to fit a piece of concrete in to the boss’ door instead of there just being a key, I almost quit.

I’m excited for Minish Cap! Cool to see Capcom make a Zelda game. All the hand helds pre 3DS are blind spots for me. I only had oracle of seasons.

The music and the art style do a lot for me. The highs are high but the lows are almost unplayable. There’s a great game in here, but too much stuff holding it back. The level design is weak at times, the world is gorgeous but feels empty, and the controls are straight up bad in spots.

Story wise it’s fantastic. And the music is amazing, and I love the water color art style.

But the gameplay is *rough* in parts. The reuse of environments, enemies, and dungeons makes the world feel SO small, which is antithetical to the concept of reclaiming the surface and exploring the skies.

I’m like 90% sure the GameStop near me is a drug front so I didn’t even consider going in person for a preorder 😆

No problem! Wish I could give you more advice on it but things change based on where you live, so you’d be better off chatting with a professional who knows more specifics if/when ownership of the house actually transfers to you. STILL! Congrats on the house!! So cool! 😄

Hey! I don’t know you and this is awesome news. But please make sure you consult a tax attorney / CPA. You could be on the hook for a huge tax liability if you don’t transfer the house correctly, especially if she has owned the house for a long time. But if you do it right, you won’t have to worry.
