This is a very good book. I stumbled onto James McBride's "Heaven and Earth Grocery Store" and fell in love with his writing and the amazing narration by Dominic Hoffman.

I took a walk to a creek near our school on Friday as part of our staff "movement March" PD. I used it as an opportunity to pause, reflect, and make some art in preparation for our printmaking project in the Art room.

Just finished a 4-day long Monopoly game with the almost 7 year-old. She had a Krusty Krab on the Krusty Krab which wiped me out. So much to learn playing this game. Sociology, Economics, Politics and so much Math.

Been reading Braiding Sweetgrass. It is an unbelievable exploration of the overlap of indigenous knowledge and modern science. Also a powerful message of joy and hope in a tumultuous time.
