There is also the issue of rising up going awry. Often a dictator will arise from violent action.

Americans are slow to get moving. The 50501 movement is gaining momentum. I think that if we keep going, we will achieve critical mass to make real change happen.

Historically, people have only risen up when they have nothing else to lose. Or their fear of losing everything by inaction is so obvious that they can’t ignore it.

The issue in the United States is that people fear losing what the have. Getting fired from their jobs for not going to work.

Because everyone who could arrest him is under him in the executive branch. Too bad we don’t have a separate law enforcement agency that can hold the president accountable.

Possibly a, “If I can’t have it nobody can.” Kind of mentality?

That said, I think he is just a puppet. Ultimately, I think Putin is his controlling him. Using him to get his final revenge on the US. It’s just supposition, but it matches how he is acting.

I have been made aware that we the people can’t recall representatives. Seems like an oversight, though I can also understand why they may have done it this way. In case people were misled.
Basically, only the body the representative is in can kick them out.

Thank you sir for standing up for the American people! I only wish the rest of the Democrats had followed suit.

One for all, all for One!

That’s understandable. I didn’t want to increase the ratings. I also didn’t feel like wasting time listening to him ramble on and lie through his teeth. I know where I stand, and will pick up the salient points from other sources.

That’s good to hear. It sounds like they are finally taking this seriously. Better late than never. Thank you for sharing the information. 🙂

That’s really neat!

Can’t like this enough! Democrats need to take a few pages from the Republican playbook. Resist as if our country’s future depends on it, because it does.

Took me longer than it should have to figure out what why it was a problem. Bummer!

I am with the others. What are you and your colleagues doing to stop them?

I am asking since I could really use some hope. Some knowledge that our representatives are doing more than talking. Not just riling us up just like Trump does to his followers.

I earnestly want to know.

Thank you for sharing this information. More of the public needs to be aware of the value of these programs. They cost a lot from the public’s perspective, but are a minimal cost compared to budget and the value they create. Stronger allies mean that the US has to do less policing worldwide.

There are plenty who give a damn. The main issue is that we don’t know how to stop it. We want to stay within the confines of the law, since the “justice” system only applies to us. Only the oligarchs are allowed to break the law with impunity.

To be clear, I am not advocating law breaking.

Just a thought. What if we peacefully protest by blocking public road access to every business Elon Musk owns? Seems like a good way to send a message. Of course, I wouldn’t want anyone getting hurt or in legal trouble. So, just floating the idea. Kinda like a strike by the public.

Considering that the “Justice” system couldn’t even bring Trump to justice, I have almost no faith in it doing anything to punish Elon.
