I find meaning on a simple path: Be the change you want to see in the world. Passionate about many things, but especially climate action, walkable communities, active transportation, democracy, and respect for others. I also like to laugh.
That's because they really mean "your climate" and "my economy." (Though they are going to find that wall between theirs and ours is not as strong as they think it is.)

The harmful thing here is he/they continue to undermine people's basis understanding of how insurance is supposed to work. It's why we have radio ads for maintenance "insurance" in your car that even pays for oil changes.

Regardless of the intentions of #BigOil and the politicians who do their bidding, this is not the end of the road for electrifying transportation. It's merely the next phase of an unstoppable transition.

Where losing the tax credit hurts most is with lower-income drivers for whom the upfront cost of an EV is a stretch initially -- even if lower operating costs make driving electric a good deal. But losing the incentive for consumers puts pressure on car companies to build more affordable vehicles.
