‘You don’t need data’

And with that, you safely move into the mute box.

I’m not making any claims. I’m saying you are, without data, and based on non-scientific emotional statements, I doubt your scientific competence or objectivity. I see no reason to believe anything you post.
November 27, 2025 at 2:29 AM
I didn’t fail anything, I just have no faith that you are in any way a competent researcher nor an impartial voice. You’re using hyperbole, poorly, to appeal to emotion instead of actually providing methodology and data.
November 27, 2025 at 2:27 AM
No you didn’t. Go ahead. Post one with your data proving it false and share a link to your methods and peer confirmation.

Correlation still requires testing, rather than inference. If you just look for correlations without any understanding of causal mechanisms, then you’re not actually doing science. Also, most medical research is highly causal, just not certain.

Going away isn't what most people necessarily think will happen, but like most social networks, the value that they hold in the market is dramatically overstated and will come crashing down, likely soon.

I mean, will Tesla collapse? Maybe not... but it's clearly overvalued!

This presupposes I am ever lost ;)

I have tried to make this compelling case to my wife to no avail.
November 26, 2025 at 5:27 PM
No, just the idea that once I wasn't trying to put on a particular face to attract women, and felt comfortable with my partner, and my partner was comfortable with me, then I felt no need to act performatively masculine. I probably would have come to the same realization eventually, but it helped.

Honesty, getting married to a liberal woman was so liberating because I could just do whatever and she didn’t expect me to be macho. Now I fart, watch football, listen to musicals, cry at sappy shit, whatever I want and no judgment… pure freedom. I still have to deal with mice and spiders tho.

They were all nuts before they were rich, but being rich made the nuts seem rational.

I was literally going to ask... "how old is this 12 year old?" Thanks for anticipating.

The parent's knew though! And even among them, the reaction was pretty tepid. People thought, accurately, that this was a short term COVID response, and that's why they didn't get excited about it!
November 25, 2025 at 3:16 PM
Yes, the publicity and coverage around it was terrible, but if you are pure materialist, it's still pretty bad that regular checks to parents were essentially treated as meh by the public.

Somehow this gives "two 14 year old girls fawning over an ugly pair of shoes" vibes.

Rogue One is the best post-original trilogy film largely because it hues so closely to the original trilogy. It's easily better than anything in the prequels and it's substantially better than the latest trio of crap. Ironically, I think JB undervalues Solo.

One of my mom's friends can't stop sharing "heartwarming stories" about school janitors that are secretly saving otter pups in their spare time who live right behind "Abrlihim Lancoln Elmormnetry Schhhll"

Every day, I feel like intervening. Every day I think "How is she still falling for it!?"
