I love it already! But I have to know - is the title some “To Serve Man” kind of thing?

Relatable to me too, but now that my job is lost, I had some time to make this, which I hope will help mitigate that somewhat.

Would love feedback, (even if it’s not the thing for you.)

Human beings do two things very well: Run or walk long distances, and tell stories. Dump this asshole already.

Bladerunner

“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time… like tears… in rain… Time… to die.”

Also spaghettification happens later as black holes get larger. And Sagittarius-A is BIG. So you’d be way past the event horizon and close to the singularity before it happened.

The only health issues I have would benefit greatly from neutral buoyancy. (Mostly my sore joints from jiu jitsu.)

I was NAUI before, but will probably have to go PADI this time.

And I'm thinking of getting re-certified at 57, because 20 years above water is long enough.

I started diving in my mid 20s and loved it. The friend that got me into it was about 10 years older than me, and died in a freak accident on a Wyoming highway when he was about 50.

You never know when your time will end, so I vote for enjoying what you've got.

Also, soft times don’t make weak men - soft times just allow cowardly men to escape notice while quietly and cravenly amassing undeserved wealth and power.

We should really not make “weak” and “strong” into moral positions. That’s buying into the fascist worldview.

Even when it comes to character, strong is not always good, and weak is not always evil.
