I need people to understand that people like MTG are appropriating those concepts in much the same way Ken Ham or RFK Jr. appropriate the language of science, as bait. But for her, it’s + w/ tropes of antisemitism: that list is a longwinded, plausibly-deniable way to signal opposition to “the Jews.”

I think keeping politicians amateur would be Bad, Actually. We need professionals who understand things to hold office. We just need short, public funding-only campaigns, actually free elections, & base pay for the job commensurate to its importance.

Trump’s megalomania knows no bounds and nobody around him is willing to tell him “no.”
But I will admit that a coin that his stupefying narcissism has rendered potentially structurally unsound or unbalanced would be fitting.

This is admittedly a little dumb, but I wonder how many people who nodded sagely at the Ghorman arc of Andor S2 are uncritically swallowing Miller-as-Trump’s narrative here, especially as laundered through centrist or partisan media.
Hopefully a small %. It’s still surreal to see it in real life.
