It's a really bizarre decision, but I think it speaks a lot to just how much of a flop H2sh has been. Critical reception has been bad of course but I think this makes it clear it was impacting sales, I don't think they would have done this otherwise.

It's definitely an unusual pull! Given how thoroughly they were pushed off the board I thought marvel was basically done with them, but Hickman definitely sees something in those characters given that he keeps bringing them into stuff.

Don't get me wrong, Inhumans stories still miss 75-80% of the time, but the times they do hit for me tend to be cosmic, so this at least seems to be operating in a context where they work better. Remains to be seen how the book wraps of course.

I personally enjoyed it a lot. The Inhumans don't work super well on earth but they're space stories (War of Kings, Royals) have always been highlights for me. Black Bolt himself isn't so much a character as a plot device, but Maximus can be really fun with the right writer.

My biggest concern is that when the AI bubble pops it's going to rip through the very shaky foundations of the Trump economy. We're likely in for a 2008 style crash within the next year or so.

People love to hate on Bendis but when his stuff works it *really* works. Alias alone justify him being in at least the top 10 marvel writers.
