Good lord, it’s so much nicer here 🌞 Hey everyone!
My parents took me to my first Smithsonian trip when I was 10. I don’t envision doing any family trips at this rate until my son is at least 12, unfortunately.
The White House listed an exhibit on LGBTQ history at the Smithsonian as objectionable and something to be removed.

If a kid didn’t have a phone until middle school and it’s the first line of a glowing bio about a wunderkind athlete, my son’s going to be the freaking president.
Arch Manning didn’t have a cell phone until middle school. His curfew was earlier than his friends. Meanwhile, he was receiving scholarship calls in sixth grade.

So, how do you raise the next QB star with a famous last name?

Here we go.

This may end up being the right decision. Despite the fact it was Trump making it.

But it will forever have been done the wrong way.

He should have made a proper case to the nation. And gotten Congressional approval.

The same as any President should.

Especially if this drags on.

It's the year of our lord 2025 and congresspeople are getting illegally blocked from accessing a federal building by Panama Jack in a Toucan Sam shirt.
In a lengthy exchange, with ICE Deputy Field Director Bill Joyce, Reps Nadler and Goldman are denied the ability to visit the 10th floor. Joyce says it's not a detention facility it's just a place ppl are housed for several days w/out beds.

If they get Moranis back, this is an all-time coup of a reboot.
I told you we’d be back

OK I might have to go back to AEW.

I am staggered by the functionally braindead questions being asked of America's most powerful people while a "nuclear" story is unfolding, live, in front of them, on tape. This is precisely why these politicians love podcasts and want to destroy journalism
Vance: " Donald Trump didn't do anything wrong with Jeffrey Epstein... I'm the VP to President Trump. My loyalties are always gonna be with the president...[Elon's] gone so nuclear...It's a huge mistake for him to go after the president."

I am generally a very positive person, and the amount of hate I have in my body for Bob Nutting and, to a lesser extent, Ben Cherington, is very unhealthy.

But seriously, to hell with those guys for taking my joy away.

A high school freshman who is more emotionally mature than 90% of politicians and other adults.
Letter from a girl in Maine who finished second to a trans athlete in Cross country. I've always thought cross country kids are the best sports athletes.

I just watched someone on Smackdown beat a dude over the back with a fan’s prosthetic leg. Pro Wrestling is awesome.

Oh my God, Spanish language “Houston, you have a problem!” at 1:10 😳
As called by:

Sean Kelley on Florida Gators radio
Jeremy Branham on Houston Cougars radio
Kevin Kugler on Westwood One
Rafael Hernandez Brito on Westwood One
Fernando Tirado on ESPN Mexico
Matheus Suman on ESPN Brasil
Brian Custer on ESPN International

I don’t think I’ve ever seen two better defensive possessions with a national title on the line. That’s an unimaginable gut punch for Houston but the most amazing defense by Florida to not let Houston even get up a shot on two straight touches.

Pro wrestling has always done a great job satirizing what’s actually going on in society, so the fact that I’m watching a Monday Night Raw match in 2025 where a Latino trio are huge babyfaces against the brash, overconfident, dumbass “heel” group called “American Made” decked out in 🇺🇸 is wild to me.

Really looking forward to the Schitt’s Creek revival season starting The Ratliff Family.

Normally UConn winning a title would be cause for consternation, but Paige Bueckers is insanely likable so good for them.

Probably have argued about this with more people in the last few years than anybody. Every one of them was wrong. Tried telling you! Melo is a legend, and this is well-deserved.
FROM SHAMS:

First ballot: Carmelo Anthony has been notified that he's been elected into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025, sources tell ESPN. Anthony made 10 All-Star appearances and six All-NBA teams in 19 seasons to go along with three Olympic gold medals for Team USA.

I knew a guy when I worked in the Johnstown area who inexplicably *haaated* Marc-Andre Fleury.

He’s now serving 10 years in federal prison.

Morale of the story is love MAF.

I just feel fortunate that at this stage of my life, a show like The Pitt comes around.

While everyone talks about Severance, this is the best show on television right now.

Duke is having a potential national title run and I’m sure they’re absolutely loving the branding of The White Lotus’ Tim Ratliff wearing a Duke shirt with a gun to his head.

After watching this week’s #ThePitt I didn’t want to overreact. I slept on it. Literally had dreams about it (since I work in healthcare now).

That was one of the greatest episodes of TV I’ve ever watched, and I can say that of both the Severance finale and S1E12 of The Pitt in back to back nights.

Only thing better than Sam Rockwell’s monologue on White Lotus was Walton Goggins’ absolute wtf reactions.
