I'm hoping the hyper embarrassing BO7 flop causes some corporate stooges to reconsider the direction they're heading, but I fear it's going to take the deaths of a few beloved studios (like Insomniac level) to finally cause enough public outcry to get the ship steered back around.

But at least the new Saudi Arabian EA is going to make up for it with killer AI slop!

I am right there with you on the first. Thought it was visually interesting in 3D on its initial theatrical run but I literally can't finish it if I try to watch it at home.

I LOVED the sequel. Vintage Cameron.

Oh boy, surely not people as typically reputable as banking executives! Who could have seen this coming?!

I expect it to take a loooong time, but these Blu-Rays have just been sitting on the shelf staring at me for quite a while.

And so it begins:

1. "The Man Trap" -- 3/5

Some good beats, but a legitimately insane choice as a first episode to air.

Guessing I've seen about 25% of the original series episodes, probably closer to 50% of TNG. I have seen all the movies, but I'll revisit anyway.

And seeing as it's 196 minutes long and this showing doesn't start until 10:50, here's hoping it's not too packed. Not handling crowds well lately.

I've always read that they are, but I'll leave it to someone smarter than me to confirm.

You saying no to a Muppet Benoit Blanc mystery is making me question my love of all of your work. It's a perfect fit. No movie has ever made more sense.

It's a pleasant time, Nicholson is great. Too indebted to the first, though, which it never had a shot of living up to. And it's a weirdly bad Stowe performance? Don't think it was her fault, the screenplay is pretty embarrassing about its female characters.
