Sketched Hellboy in pencil for my nephew then made the major mistake of NOT using watercolors but Copics, which turned everything super dark and unusable (d’oh!). To try to save it I inked it and sorta played around with the curves in Photoshop. Oh well 😆
Still learned a bunch of stuff I think!

Weapon X, in Black and White and oversized. The pages’ definition is not great, but good enough to enjoy BWS’s gorgeous ink strokes.

Logically I should wait to have the story finished before showing pages, but this one was super tricky and feel proud of what I learned.
I now also know a lot of things NOT to do next time lol.
Whether is animation or comics, isn’t visual storytelling the best thing ever? :D
