The second school we visited today had drone flying on their curriculum. They had to fly the drone back into the classroom. Michael Gove would not be happy.

For pre-season we went to watch Flamengo Mirassol at the Maracanã last night. Incredible atmosphere. Bring on Forest Brentford next week!

A fun morning at school today. MP @jonathandaviesmp.bsky.social popped over with rapper Shao Dow @shaodowmusic.bsky.social who put on a proper show for our year 8’s. Lovely to see our MP supporting our Creative Industries faculty. Had to grab a selfie, of course!

Our Head of Technology has made wooden name badges for all our Year 6’s who are coming up for induction day in a couple of weeks. They double up as keyrings for their locker keys too. So cute! I was very chuffed to have been given one this morning too!

Two of our higher profile Y11 girls brought in this awesome present for our internal alternative provision staff today. They named the fish after themselves so they’d be remembered. So nice for the staff to know they’ve had a positive impact. The cutest thing I’ve seen at school for a while

Ha! Have definitely been there. However, I think We Are Scientists knew their audience. Set pitched just right - full of the hits and a few new bangers. Finished before curfew and happy to have photo with aging audience members as we left!

I went to that one! I still have the T-shirt and wore it for band T-shirt day at school this year. It was older than a few of the teachers!
