Authors 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝟯𝗗 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗲 and revealed that the C-terminus of the scaffolding protein bassoon is oriented toward the synaptic cleft, while its N-terminus extends toward synaptic vesicles.
