Explosions in Kyiv.
We’re under attack.

What else to say?
I charged everything,
edited photos – just in case I don’t get another chance (sorry, dark humour)

Greetings from Kyiv.
Just a quick note for those who care.
We’re fine.
The view from the window is still the same, luckily.
A loud night of drones and missiles is over.

Sadly, there are casualties and damage in the city.

Letters from a pair of World War I soldiers have been found in a bottle on a beach in Western Australia.

A local family came across the bottle as they were cleaning up the beach earlier this month. One of the soldiers' granddaughters called the discovery a miracle.

At last.

Maybe such news isn’t a big thing in your part of the world,
but here, it means a lot –
after all russia’s attempts to freeze us.

Another look at that amazing pink tinged sun seen yesterday at #sunset - video thanks to follower Gary Thompson - it was due to the smoke plume from the ongoing Canadian Wildfires which had travelled across the Atlantic reaching NW Europe on the 1st June, then on to Iberia.
