Found a can of black beans in the pantry, so I decided to throw together some chili. I had a bit of ground beef and ground pork in the freezer, and some chipotle chilis in adobo. And yes, I put mushrooms in my chili 😝

Found a can of black beans in the pantry, so I decided to throw together some chili. I had a bit of ground beef and ground pork in the freezer, and some chipotle chilis in adobo. And yes, I put mushrooms in my chili 😝

I finally cleaned and organized my very cluttered front hall. Bookshelves sorted, coat rack cleaned and tidied, chair and bench freed from under even more books.

I’m roasting a lovely small chicken tonight with bread stuffing (baked on the side, not in the bird) mashed rutabaga/Swede, parsnips and fondant roasted potatoes. Probably should put something green on the plate, but jeez there’s already so much food!
