@adambienkov.bsky.social any news on whether pasties will be included in the smorgasbord?

I can't think of a good defence for the Panorama Trump edit, but I'm struggling with why there were no complaints at the time and the resignations it triggered took place more than a year after it was broadcast.

I'm too lazy to check which commentators said appointing Mandelson was a bold and brilliant move but are now asking why Starmer even considered it. Just hoping @privateeyenews.bsky.social will let me know in due course...

Now it looks like Jesus murdering someone with a tiny mallet.
They erased the new Banksy mural in London. But the stain remains.

One of these deplorable events has reportedly led to White House officials gathering in the Situation Room.

Guess which one?

Great interview by @craigbennett3.bsky.social on the Today programme. Listened to it while walking past my local bulldozed site given permission for 100+ homes in 2019.

No bats or newts there. Rachel Reeves just uses them as a smokescreen for her failure to tackle the real issues.

@bbcnewsnight.bsky.social goes full Day Today with French wildfires discussed not as a climate disaster but a tourism issue. A "Tipping Point" becomes the moment it gets too hot to go to the Med. The impact on the French living among the fires entirely overlooked as if only visitors matter.

Awful.

Oh FFS. You either think Palestine had a right to be recognised or you don't. You don't think it does because some other country does one thing or another.

Danny Kruger MP tells #Radio5Live that support for the Assisted Dying Bill has been "cut in half".

Yes the vote margin was reduced but 330 MPs backed it the first time and 314 this time - a 5% drop.

So Elon won't dismantle his rocket. Big surprise.

MACO doesn't work as well as TACO. Though we could always just use WACO for both of them.

My favourite ferry is to start charging foot passengers to "bring it in line" with other routes.

If only there was another way of bringing it line while still supporting car-free travel 🤦🏻‍♂️

Searched "Liverpool" on Elon Musk's cesspit of a site and the "Top" 50 posts are 48 posts of fans celebrating with no mention of the car attack and 2 posts with blurry photos claiming the driver wasn't a 53 year-old white man and evidence-free claims police are covering stuff up.

I suspect spam texts claiming to be from the Department of Work and Pensions and beginning "My Dear Partner" are not likely to fool many people.

Glad to see the Metro reporting there will be trains to both Merthyr and Tydfil.

Oops.

"Ten commonnest birds in UK" lists rarely agree perfectly, but they never feature pheasants. Yet 40-50 million of them are released into the wild every year.

Sparrows, wrens, wood pigeons and other table toppers tend to be around 10 million. #bbcr4today

Not a single Government Minister has called Trump thick, deranged or a wanker, despite endless goading by interviewers on Radio 4's Today programme.

Any chance we could try a different approach #BBCNews?

Wondering why #Asda can install loads of solar panels on their Leyton store, while #B&Q next door - who actually sell them - haven't bothered?

Why are so many journalists doing "How the UK dodged the worst of Trump's tariffs" guff when we know they are the product of a simple (and much derided) formula?

The answer is simply we have a worse balance of trade with the USA than those hit harder.

I have no principled objection to AI, but if the Government implement it as badly as eBay have in their listing descriptions, expect bland information that is utterly useless in helping you find what you want.

It isn't easy spotting upsides these days, but maybe this could this push MAGA-backing, climate-sceptic motorists in the US to make the switch to electric cars?

Today programme totally failing to understand ULEZ was intended to cut health harming pollutants and instead banging on about carbon dioxide.

Hope this documentary reminds viewers that in 2018 the Police Federation (+ the usual right wing media idiots) forced Lush to remove #spycops posters from their window to maintain the safety of their staff.

Not exactly evidence they are sorry.
