A crazy amount of heat has accumulated in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean over the past two months.

Hold on to your hats when this reaches the surface with the next El Niño.

According to the latest CERES data just released yesterday for October, 2025, the current rate of planetary heating is about 10.28 Hiroshimas per second.

This equals 37,000 Hiroshimas per hour, 890,000 per day, and about 324 million Hiroshimas in planetary heating over the last year.

There is definite progress towards reaching the Glasgow Methane Pact goal of reducing human methane sources 30% by 2030. We're now on track to reach this goal before civilization collapses.
