I once emailed a knit designer solely to tell her that I love her patterns, I appreciate that she writes them clearly, and I had made several of them.

I'm having one of those weeks. I've tried to achieve gauge with 3 different yarns using 3 different needle sizes each and I give up. I refuse to use s size 9 needle with sport- weight yarn to get 5 stitches per inch.
