A year ago I had a post “go viral,” getting millions of views and engagements. My latest essay talks about that — how I did it, and more importantly, why. I welcome your thoughts and responses. If you enjoy this, pls share it. Thanks!

I want you to never forget, even for a moment, that you are seen, accepted and loved.

When you see, accept and love yourself, it becomes natural to see, accept and love those around you.

Two Friends gathered for midweek worship today. No spoken ministry - just a gathered waiting.

Followed by an animated afterword over lunch.

Reading the Spiritual Writings of St. Charles de Foucauld this weekend.

It’s not about doing more for God, but remaining with God where no one is watching, and staying long enough for love to take flesh.

We were six at Meeting for Worship this morning; Margaret kept the quiet hour at home. There was no spoken ministry; a gathered silence prevailed.

Meeting for Worship for church affairs followed, and we had weighty things to discern. We were taking stock of our present, future, & possibilities.

A Friend from Marsden Meeting attended the monthly Zoom session of the Non-Theist Quaker Network, this evening. Following a period of silence, we were led in our sharing by Howard Grace who has been instrumental (alongside Imad Karam), in making the documentary, 'The Hardest Bridge'.

It’s okay to mourn the person you were, the person you wanted to be… the dreams you had, the things you can no longer do.

Whether you feel angry, sad, just resigned to it, or fully accepting… all are valid.

We were 6 at Meeting for Worship this morning. Our first at the Community Hub & Cafe since the big freeze & consequent water damage.

We had no spoken ministry, but Anne contributed our accustomed reading from Advices & Queries.

Shared lunch & lively conversation followed.

Today has been a pretty Quakerly day. Damian's written, & submitted, a short piece for The Friend, and joined Sufi friends for Zikr this evening, which rounded things off nicely! The gathered voices were particularly resonant, & the shared food & fellowship, nourishing.

Two of us met for midweek Meeting for Worship today, at the home of one Marsden Friend; two other Friends being prevented.

We had no spoken ministry, but the warmth of sun & generous light. After, a lovely extended lunch at a local spot, with the conversational net spread wide.
