I have a mild obsession with decorative man hole covers. I usually check them out when traveling but this one in Ft Lauderdale on our way to dinner last weekend near the river was just too pretty to pass up.

The sargassum is so heavy on Hollywood Beach today that I’m worried if I try to skip through it to get to the sandbar that I will end up looking like one of those baby ducks from the dawn commercial that gets rescued from an oil spill. Not gonna try it. Ewww. #beachsky
