Tried to explain a grocery store "cardboard box room" to one of my nieces. She thought I meant like at an Aldi's, but that's just not the same. Haven't seen one at any grocery store since around the mid 80's.

Maybe it's the physical, actual house.

It has no pets anymore, lost one of its arms, its decor looks like trash, bad pest infestation, and now one of those pests is talking about mortgages.

That could make any house angry.

Any sources on any of this?

No offense meant, it's still interesting speculation if not.

Only other place I've seen the phrase is an annoying adult site advertisement intro.

...and now I've grossed myself out.

Honestly can't imagine the GOP ever giving up the filibuster. But widening a gap between them and Trump with the idea of losing it coulda been nice.

(Bar trivia is favorite, but I get rowdy)

Darts. And haven't the kids started throwing axes and cornholes, or something?

It's the potato chips and the overbite that get me.

You can just make chips fresh in the store? And a peanut butter cup can have actual peanut butter in it, then ALSO weigh a quarter pound?

The chanting is a bit creepy though.

I can't think of one.

If I've got a regret, it is that we could have twisted the knife a bit harder on the filibuster. At least widen the crack a bit between Trump and the Senate.

But I don't think we would have gotten to the nuke. That would have been *massive* long term damage to GOP.

He kinda *always* says that.
November 10, 2025 at 4:13 AM
That makes me feel strangely better.|
Don't like tonight's vote, but those three *do* really suck.

Nah. Screw Cillizza.

Schumer did vote against the deal, for what it's worth.
Definitely can't lead his caucus though.

Doubt those flights get fixed much before the holidays honestly.
November 10, 2025 at 3:50 AM
The nasty bastard in me says this vote is still late enough that flights are gonna be screwy into the holidays, but not so late that the Democrats end up sharing the blame.

And yeah, that definitely isn't the only thing going on. Still kind of comforted by my inner bastard.

Delayed due to air traffic controller shortage is still a bit funny though.
November 10, 2025 at 3:17 AM
Ok, dumb question, why are you saying HSAs? That screenshot says FSAs.

Think I'd prefer it was an HSA if I had to pick between just those two options, but don't really like either.

Wormtongue was just telling Theoden the news for the good of Rohan...

Still has colic somehow too.

Maybe we can put a teething ring in the fridge for that.
Emboss it with "The Nibble Peace Prize" maybe.
November 9, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Not to mention the trend of more people living in houses, which also ended.
November 9, 2025 at 4:12 PM
Except that trend of houses getting bigger ended a decade or so ago. Same with rentals.
November 9, 2025 at 4:01 PM
Other than housing and healthcare, Miss Lincoln, how did you enjoy the economy?
November 9, 2025 at 5:50 AM
That many eggplants I'd probably end up making baba ganoush (freezes ok, just gotta whip a lot on thawing).

And smoking peppers is kinda fun.
