Indeed, I don't think automated full beam is a good idea, they don't dip quick enough, particularly noticeable when I'm on my bike.

I had someone in an electric Ford suv queue behind me at a petrol station with their full beam on in daylight, had to position so their lights weren't in any mirror as they were so bright. Told them when we waited to pay. They were oblivious.

I'd park my bike there if I saw that.
