No longer standing in the twisted wreckage of the Twitter (and soon to be Threads) Airbus. If anyone wants to know, yes, I’m still full of shit but no longer funny.

Damn. I broke a nail.

It’s the most marvellous use of our natural resources to run data centres that allow you to ask an AI to make an instant, vulgar roast of someone at a party.
Everything about this might be the saddest thing I’ve ever seen

He’s quite right. Adore this film.
One of the very best, whatever time of year. And is on BBC iPlayer ❤️
Recommended to me by @marclaming.bsky.social a few years ago this movie has become a staple of my 'run up to Christmas' viewing. So here we go again.

Annual festive food (sandwiches and mince pies) has begun here. So far:

Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference mince pies are the leader.

Incredibly, M&S Turkey feast is way too much cranberry. So far, Tesco Turkey with all the trimmings sandwich is in the lead.

I’m quite frankly shocked at this.

Interesting to see so many great British patriots right now begging an American president to bankrupt one of Britain’s last remaining truly national institutions.

@chinnyvision.bsky.social Stmbled across Please Sir the film on Great TV a couple of nights ago. And it’s on their terrible streaming app. Man, what a blast. And Sally Hawkins. Now there was a crush and a half.
