Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century.

He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.

The GOP is entering the “finding out” phase of gerrymandering. By the same metric, Dems got almost 40% of the vote in Utah and currently hold zero congressional seats due to gerrymandering

I don't believe for a single second the narrative that other people control Trump's Truth Social account and it goes through layers, sorry, that level of fucking bullshit won't fly. Trump's 2 am rants on social media are pure Trump.

One more comment on the Post debacle: this hurts journalism broadly. Good journalists will go do something else. The rest will be fighting for fewer jobs and everyone will earn less. Fewer people will take up the career. The damage done is to the ecosystem, as well as the paper.

I've heard from people in other cities "I'd like to see them try that in __!"

No. No, you wouldn't.

We have guns pointed in our faces in MN. I think you'd change your tune if this was happening to you, your family & your neighbors.

Nobody knows EXACTLY how to do this. This is NEW to all of US.

For decades, START has reduced the risk on nuclear conflict. We must extend this treaty and prioritize efforts to prevent the possibility of a nuclear showdown. This shouldn’t be a partisan issue.

Three rules in FBI firearm training:

1. Always point your weapon downrange
2. Do not point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot
3. Don’t put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to shoot

Guns are not for threatening compliance for unarmed people doing things you don’t like
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

Exclusive: A U.S. official has alleged wrongdoing by U.S. spy chief Tulsi Gabbard in a complaint that is so highly classified it has sparked months of wrangling over how to share it with Congress, according to people familiar with the matter.

Just returned home from the anti-ICE protest in Portland today. A 100% peaceful crowd that the Portland Police Department (PPD) estimated to be "in the thousands" marched past ICE's Portland HQ.

ICE, of course, responded with a barrage of tear gas and chemical rounds to suppress free speech.

Democracies are so strong that they allow people to criticize democracy. In fact, the ability to do so is an essential quality of democracy. Authoritarians are so weak they don't allow people to criticize authoritarians. Silencing dissent is an essential quality of authoritarian regimes.

Hold a sham raid to “find” fake evidence of voter fraud
Use it as a pretext to influence our elections

We cannot be silent while this administration prepares their assaults on our elections.

I keep hearing the same argument from MAGA:

"What about all the citizens murdered by illegals".

Then get a warrant and go arrest them!

Don't patrol the streets terrorizing everyone, arresting children at schools and US citizens because you don't know who to arrest. See the difference?
