And Worms, a boardgame which somehow captures the chaos of Worms and futility of having a welll made plan involving accuracy.

Stationfall, in which the colonel escaped to earth taking the deadly nanobot swarm with them in the same escape capsule, the Stranger jetpacked to earth, and Security bot started shooting everyone left on the ship and planting wrenches on them.

Funner Factory, haven't played this one for a while so busted it out, a great little spacial reasoning game.

the resource victory easy. However Paul had a card which allowed him to choose a victory point condition without being start player, which seemed relatively op and he won.

Now that I know how it's meant to be played, I'd play it again, but the card (and dice) luck might just be too much for me

A lot more dependent upon hand-draw than I assumed. To the extent the board was more an afterthought. My first hadn was a bunch of low value war cards, which led to a dreadful first round. My second hand was a lot better, and led to me claiming a bunch of cards, one of which made winning...

It definitely prompted me to hedge my bets between this place and threads.
