In honour of the fact we launch TOMORROW I played Spokes with the prototype track change expansion creating an interesting choice up to the single spoke path on the outside. Loads of fun as always, and hilarious messing up of routes, or proper piggybacking, around that tight corner! #boardgames

And Worms, a boardgame which somehow captures the chaos of Worms and futility of having a welll made plan involving accuracy.

Stationfall, in which the colonel escaped to earth taking the deadly nanobot swarm with them in the same escape capsule, the Stranger jetpacked to earth, and Security bot started shooting everyone left on the ship and planting wrenches on them.

Played some more great games yesterday at Beyond Monopoly!
Gaia Project with the new expansion. Cemented as my pick of the Terra Mystica systems, the new expansion adds 4 new races, 2 new planets, derelict spaceships with new abilities and general balancing. Superb game.

Played some decent games today - Bus by Splitter, San Juan, Hansa Teutonica and Lord of the Rings Duel. Somehow managed to win all of them, Christmas luck I'm sure

I played more quality #boardgames yesterday then ever at a convention (BMYork games club)
Deep breath: Quarto, Tiny Towns, Agricola, Camel Up (Supercup), Spokes (my own prototype, just for fun not playtesting anything), Skull, Arcs, Worms (suprisingly enjoyable for ip minis), Harvest & Phantom Ink.
