Huge Alt fan here. But this is not your area of expertise. Back in the golden days of NASA, the spacecraft were built by contractors. Advancing the state of the art in space always included moving into the private sector. Jumping tech this far means that things will blow up. Like back in the day.

Wrapping up 13 years at De Vargas Elementary and the makerspace I founded and operated for the last 10. I’ll be at another school next year, but this is almost certainly going to be the longest I will have ever worked in one place. I will probably be retiring after next year. #EduSky

@caseynewton.bsky.social What I call the “anti-hype hypster’s“ about AI are just as bad as the hypsters themselves. They focus only on the flaws in the technology and make believe that those are the only characteristics. They have magical thinking about its usefulness.
