Ticked two movies on the start of my 2025 catch-up - Y2K and All Of You, both period pieces, one in the past, one 5-mins-to-12-years in the future, as set dressing for more middle-of-the-road stories. The latter has a LOT more to recommend it, but only the former namechecks "President Blowjob". 😱

The ending is very good, Chazelle knows how to wrap a movie up except for Babylon which is like the inverse of this, with an ending so terrible that even though I enjoyed it up to that point, it leaves me going:

Belatedly, my most unhinged #DoctorWho take is that The Witch's Familiar is based on the Michael Keaton episode of Frasier (which was just on Channel 4), right down to the Doctor tipping Davros out of his wheelchair and then still being fooled into believing he's seen the light.
