It will work for big corporate clinics and 6 minute medicine. It won’t fit clinics that prioritise continuity of care.

This doesn’t mention GPs at all? Funding GPs is the most cost effective way of both prevention and decreasing hospital admissions. Ditch urgent care clinics and fund GPs properly.

GPs already have a huge amount of regulation over them compared with any other specialty. Just fund them properly.

If successive governments had supported GPs, instead of directing funding to this type of bandaid scheme, Norma would have had preventive and ongoing care from her GP.
