The black hole in Durham County Council’s budget has grown by £11.1mn in the past two months under the control of Reform UK.

Difficult to know how to answer without sounding simplistic or overblown. The closest I can come is the portrayal of the desire to capture that elusive moment. I'm writing something at the moment which is either the best thing I have ever managed, or the worst. Told you it would sound rubbish!

Just finished the brilliant 'Beast' by @luluallison.bsky.social. It is supposed to be a reread of Iris Murdoch's 'The Sea, The Sea' next, but I'm a little daunted by its heft.
