I hope you’re right. Carney has been an immense disappointment to me so far on the environment so I’m not sure I believe this won’t get built by taxpayer dollars.

According to Blake Shaffer, "Alberta’s emissions performance credits, which can be used to comply with the industrial carbon pricing system, are now trading at just C$17 per tonne." Doesn't seem like Smith committed to anything of value. Carney has seemed like a disaster for the climate.
