He is not, but he wants you to think that he is. These people only give you the info, impressions, emotions, etc that they want you to have. There is zero genuineness in these people, especially him.

Donating food is a good deed, I have no issue with doing what you can for your neighbors in need. But Polis could tap his boy Anshultz, worth $19 million. Instead he says to the poors you better share with each other because the oligarchs don't care about you.

That's so funny because the bill he voted yes on had unregulated hemp products amendment AND $500K to each Senator who had their phone taken as evidence after J6. So he's a fucking liar and our news media can't ask a followup fact checking question to save their lives.

I just called and left him a VM (his office never answers. he doesn't give a shit about constituents) about how out of touch he is. He also thinks Dem leadership is fine. Please vote for Karen Breslin in the primary and get this creepy dinosaur out of office.

Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners has also urged Governor Polis to declare a statewide emergency and mobilize additional resources. A statewide emergency declaration would allow the state to access certain emergency reserve funds to support residents during this period of uncertainty.

I said the same thing almost word for word about an hour ago. He's too far removed from everyday citizens to understand what we go through. Maybe he cares but the urgency isn't there bc he doesn't understand the need.

Are you able to find out who your "customers" are, like by leaving notes in a notebook to each other? Because maybe you could connect with them and find out what they need. It could be a way to build community, too. Just a thought. Thank you for helping your neighbors. 🙏

Justice Jackson should get on the weekly calls with the food pantries that I'm on every week. THREE pantry managers broke down today from the stress & trauma. The people making decisions on our behalf are too far removed from society. May their karma be swift and painful.

Mine would've been Nov. 1. I checked the county site, it's not updated yet. We were told 2 weeks ago by CDHS that it will take 10 days to disperse the funds at 100% once they are released, but there's been so much back and forth since then that idk how long it will actually take.

It's good to hear that you're all working together. SW Food Coalition in Denver and JeffCo Food Policy Council have been really helpful in helping our food pantries work together with FBR, local govt agencies, etc. over in the west metro area.

I think him and most politicians do the bare minimum to make it look like they're doing something but I'm holding the list of which pantries in my county got credits to buy food from the food bank and it's not even half. It's not enough & it's causing pantry volunteers severe trauma.
