I’m going to leap in here and say that some people could argue that Our Mutual Friend, while mostly brilliant, has a *terrible* ending that could put a person off Dickens completely. My favourite is Bleak House.

He’s great throughout Battlestar Galactica, though the show repeatedly loses its way. I still watched and enjoyed it to the end though.
